I've been researching Gordon Lightfoot for a school project (I'm in my last year of highschool) and I thought I'd just tell you the reason that the album's name was changed to "If you could read my mind". Lightfoot was having a hard time getting a #1 almun in the USA, so when the song "If you could read my mind" got so big, his record company changed the name of the record, and the sales skyrocketed. Giving him his #1 record

How's this? I have my own nice vinyl copy of the album "Sit Down Young Stranger." Have the same thing on CD and fr some reason they have changed the name to "If You Could Read My Mind"......
